Hottest place and coldest place in the word Comparison

There are so many hot places and cold places on earth.  Death Valley is the hottest place on earth and the coldest place is Vostok Station and it is very cold there. 

Death Valley is the hottest place overall. Death Valley, California hosts some of the hottest temperatures ever recorded. The official highest air temperature ever recorded was 134°F (56.7°C) in Death Valley, California. The valley is a long, narrow basin that reaches down to below sea level, yet is walled by high, steep mountain ranges. The clear, dry air and sparse plant cover allow sunlight to heat the desert surface. The Death Valley population is 320 people. Desert Bighorn Sheep climbing mountain slopes. Death Valley is one of the driest places on earth. They are so perfectly adapted to arid environments, they don't need to drink water their entire lives.

The coldest place on Earth right now is actually the Vostok Station in Antarctica, where temperatures are currently sitting at a cool -38 degrees. Vostok Station is a Russian research station in inland Princess Elizabeth Land, Antarctica.  The absolute coldest place on Earth is in Antarctica, where Scientists at the National Snow and Ice Data Center used satellites to measure the lowest recorded temperature ever at minus-133.6 degrees Fahrenheit. Animals and plants that live in Antarctica have special adaptations that allow them to survive in extreme conditions. Blubber acts as an insulator, helping to keep the animals warm. Antarctic animals often have small extremities (flippers and feet) to reduce heat loss. Antarctica is a desert. It does not rain or snow a lot there. When it snows, the snow doesn't melt and builds up over many years to make large, thick sheets of ice, called ice sheets. Antarctica is made up of lots of ice in the form of glaciers, ice shelves, and icebergs.

The difference between the hottest and coldest places on the earth is the temperature. Both of the places have different temperatures and different climates. For example, the temperature in Death Valley  The similarities between the hottest and coldest places on earth are living things. Both of the places have living things in it. 

Science- Things I have Learned

Out the 7 last week of our science class. I have learned 4 main things in science and there are :

The Skeleton
Our skeleton consists of 206 bones. However, when we were an infant you had as many as 350 as some of the bones fuse together as you grow. More than half of your 206 is found in the hands and feet. The largest bone in your body is the femur (thigh bone). The femur connects to the tibia and fibula (shin bones). Our humerus (funny bone) connects the radius and ulna (forearm bone). Our shoulder blade is called the scapula and our collar bone is known as the clavicle.  Our cranium is known as the skull. Our fingers and toes are called phalanges. The mandible (jaw). The smallest is found in the ear and called the hammer, anvil, and stirrup.

-Cartilage-reduces friction and acts as a shock absorber.
-Synovial fluid-Keeps the cartilage slippery and lubricated. 
-Synovial membrane-Produced synovial fluid and hold it in place.
-Ligament- Hold bones together and stop them coming apart.

The muscle

The muscle a band or bundle of fibrous tissue in a human or animal body that has the ability to contract, producing movement in or maintaining the position of parts of the body. Muscle is attached to bones by strong tendons. When a muscle contract, it pulls on the bone, and the bone can move if it is part of a joint. Triceps are the back of the upper arm. Biceps are the front of the upper arm. Hamstring muscle at the back of the upper leg. Quadriceps muscle at the front of upper leg. Gastronomic calf muscle back of the lower leg. Tibialis Anterior muscle at the front of the lower leg.

The Blood
The Blood is made up of four main components-plasma, red blood cells, white blood cell, and platelets. Plasma carrying carbon dioxide to your lungs. The white blood cell fights infection and disease. Platelets are tiny fragments of cells. They are responsible for making blood clot when you get a cut in your skin. Red blood cells contain a chemical that carries oxygen around your blood cells make up about 45% of the blood. The chemical messenger is called the hormones.

1.What is the corona virus?

Corona viruses are a family of viruses known for containing strains that cause potentially deadly diseases in mammals and birds. In humans they're typically spread via airborne droplets of fluid produced by infected individuals.  Some rare but notable strains, including Wuhan corona virus (2019), and those responsible for severe acute respiratory syndrome  and Middle East respiratory syndrome.

2.Why are you interested in it?
Corona virus is a world wide problem . The virus has infected more than 14,200 people in mainland China, with a further 100 cases reported from 23 other countries. Although the disease is mostly confined to China, where each of its provinces and territories have reported infections, corona virus has reached as far as the US, France, Germany, Australia, Japan, Canada and South Korea, the United Arab Emirates, the UK and Finland. At least 304 people have died in China plus one person outside of China .

3.How does the news impact on you , your community , the environment or the world?
The loss of jobs. Family member loss. People are scared around the world. People will be afraid to eat foods in china. Some people will be racism to china people.  

4.What does that corona virus make you think about, worry about, or want to take action about?
Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue when cough or sneeze. Put your used tissue in the rubbish bin . Wash and dry your hands often, especially after coughing or sneezing use soap. Stay away from others if you're sick.
