What is Acid Rain? How does it form?
Burning of Greenhouse gas ,escape to the air. These molecules dissolve in the water in to the clouds and make the rainwater more acidic than normal.
Why does acid rain matter?
Because acid rain cause pollution and pollution cause disease.

Acid Rain Experiment

  • Calcium carbonate
  • Leaf
  • Universal indicator
  • Bromothymol blue
  • Blue litmus paper
  • Weight boat
  • Apple piece
Method

1.Set up rd dish
*Add a few drops of water to these
2.Add 1 spatula of sodium sulfide to weigh boat
-take starting photo
3.Add up 5 drops of sulfuric acid and quickly put lid on
4.Watch and take photo.

Observation
The blue litmus change red to blue.
The Bromothymol blue change blue to
 yellow colour.
The universal indicator change  green to red.
The apple skin turn to yellow and its called a acidic apple

The air in the petric dish turn to acidic.

Neutralisation

Tonight in science we are doing a experiments called neutralisation. We are using universal indicator, Hydrochloride Acid, Sodium Hydroxide.
- by changing colour
The PH scale measures how acidic or basic a substance is. The pH scale ranges from 0 to 14. A pH of 7 is neutral. A pH less than 7 is acidic
Blue ---- Green ---- Red  = pH scale
Acid ------Neutral-----Base

Universal indicator - use to measure acids and bases.

Universal Indicator - Shows if acid or base

-All acids contain hydrogen ions and they release them in water.
*Hydrochloride Acid - What is an acid?
- it is capable of corroding and dissolving a substance.
*Sodium Hydroxide - What is a base?
- A substance that, in aqueous, release hydroxide
*What is a Neutralisation reaction?
- When an acid reacts to a base react to form water and salt and involves the combination.

Experiment:

Explanation: We mixed other bases of Acids and find out the colours

Green - Sodium Hydroxide + Universal Indicator + Hydrochloride Acid

Red - Hydrochloride Acid  + Universal Indicator + Sodium hydroxide

Orange - Hydrochloride Acid + Universal Indicator

Blue - Sodium Hydroxide + Universal Indicator

Light Blue -Sodium Hydroxide + Universal Indicator + Sodium Hydroxide

Simile Poem
I am as quick as a cheetah.
I am as friendly as a puppy.
I am as brave as a soldier.
I am gentle as a purring kitten.
My eyes are blue as the ocean.
My ears can hear like a rabbit.
My brain is smart as a scientist.
My nose can smell like a bear.
My heart is as big as an elephant.

My hair is colorful as a rainbow.

Creative Writing On A Picture

The house may be located in Norway because of the mountain. The cloud was white. The old rusty, spooky, small house is located in between of the two beautiful tall mountains. The trees are green and happy. The beautiful puffy, vagrant white cloud in the sky. The background mountains are good for hiking also people can take more pictures from the top. No one might live in that small house for a long time. It might be a fishing spot for the people in that area. The water is so clear that you can see the bottom of the lake. The location might be for picture taking only. Thank you

I feel cheerful about my work because I have done a good job on it.

Hottest place and coldest place in the word Comparison

Hottest place and coldest place in the word Comparison

There are so many hot places and cold places on earth.  Death Valley is the hottest place on earth and the coldest place is Vostok Station and it is very cold there.

Death Valley is the hottest place overall. Death Valley, California hosts some of the hottest temperatures ever recorded. The official highest air temperature ever recorded was 134°F (56.7°C) in Death Valley, California. The valley is a long, narrow basin that reaches down to below sea level, yet is walled by high, steep mountain ranges. The clear, dry air and sparse plant cover allow sunlight to heat the desert surface. The Death Valley population is 320 people. Desert Bighorn Sheep climbing mountain slopes. Death Valley is one of the driest places on earth. They are so perfectly adapted to arid environments, they don't need to drink water their entire lives.

The coldest place on Earth right now is actually the Vostok Station in Antarctica, where temperatures are currently sitting at a cool -38 degrees. Vostok Station is a Russian research station in inland Princess Elizabeth Land, Antarctica.  The absolute coldest place on Earth is in Antarctica, where Scientists at the National Snow and Ice Data Center used satellites to measure the lowest recorded temperature ever at minus-133.6 degrees Fahrenheit. Animals and plants that live in Antarctica have special adaptations that allow them to survive in extreme conditions. Blubber acts as an insulator, helping to keep the animals warm. Antarctic animals often have small extremities (flippers and feet) to reduce heat loss. Antarctica is a desert. It does not rain or snow a lot there. When it snows, the snow doesn't melt and builds up over many years to make large, thick sheets of ice, called ice sheets. Antarctica is made up of lots of ice in the form of glaciers, ice shelves, and icebergs.

The difference between the hottest and coldest places on the earth is the temperature. Both of the places have different temperatures and different climates. For example, the temperature in Death Valley  The similarities between the hottest and coldest places on earth are living things. Both of the places have living things in it.
